Management Information Systems

Welcome to the Management Information Systems (MIS) Division of the Sauder School of Business, the University of British Columbia. MIS is the study of the design, implementation, management and use of information technology applications in organizations. The Sauder MIS Division is recognized as one of the world's leading MIS programs for research productivity. Our research spans a wide variety of topics ranging from the technical, economic and behavioral aspects of MIS to conceptual modeling and systems design. The MIS faculty is supported by an active doctoral program whose graduates have gone on to some of the world’s top universities. We also offer a research-focused masters program as well as support an MIS major for the Sauder undergraduate business program.

I invite you to explore our Web site and learn more about our division, people and research.
